We had a great time in Nelson. Probably the best food & beer we found while in Canada. I discovered Nelson Brewing's Faceplant and sought it out on the rest of our time in BC.
We stayed at Klein's RV Park for about two weeks. We had a plowed level spot with true full hookups. One of the few places we stayed at that really did have access to water, sewer, cable, 30 amp power and really good wireless internet. We ended up staying longer waiting for UPS to deliver our forwarded mail. We decided we'd waited long enough and Mrs. Klein offered to send our mail on to Golden for us when it finally arived.
They also allow RV parking in one of the secondary lots at Whitewater. When we went by there there were a few extension cords running out to the RVs that were there so it looked as if they'd supply a limited amount of power if you could reach.
